(hereinafter "TMR"), based in Liptovský Mikuláš (Slovakia), is together with its subsidiaries the largest tourism company in Slovakia, with growing activities in neighboring countries — mainly Poland, the Czech Republic, and Austria. TMR has more than 15 years of experience managing and operating winter resorts in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Austria, including restaurants, ski schools, equipment rental, and sports shops. TMR Ještěd a.s., a 100% subsidiary of TATRY MOUNTAIN RESORTS, a.s., has been leasing and operating the Ještěd ski resort since December 2017. The goal of TMR Ještěd is the long-term development and modernization of the resort. The first step is building the long-awaited Nová Skalka slope, with artificial lighting and new snowmaking equipment. The company also wants to develop summer activities further and improve the quality of its skiing and other services, such as dining, equipment rental, and the ski school.
