SKI JUMPING AREA
There are two world-class bridges with international FIS certification available in the Ještěd ski jumping area
Summer and winter trainings take place on the ski jumps and competitions of all levels are held. In 2009, the World Championships in classic skiing took place in Liberec and included competitions in ski jumping on the Ještěd bridges. In the past, continental and world cups also took place in Ještěd. The Czech championships are held regularly, all in cooperation with the Skiers' Association of the Czech Republic.
The ski jump area also hosts the legendary extreme running race Red Bull 400.
