At Ski Ještěd, we care about the environment – that's why we're continuing our commitment to waste sorting again this winter season. We want to keep our mountains and slopes clean for all visitors. That’s why we're once again part of the nationwide initiative "Sorting on the Snow", which promotes waste separation directly in ski resorts across the Czech Republic.

You'll find color-coded recycling bins in our area for paper, plastic, and mixed waste. These bins are placed in high-traffic spots – near parking lots, ticket offices, lifts, and restaurants – so they’re always within reach. All sorted waste is collected, further processed, and recycled – giving it a second life as new packaging or practical products.

Just like in previous years, the campaign is supported by popular skateboarder and snowboarder Maxim Habanec, who inspires especially young visitors to treat nature responsibly. This year, he’s also joining with a video series that creatively combines winter sports with recycling awareness.
